Privacy Policy

The short version. We collect what we need to coach you and run the business — your contact details, your golf assessment and round data, and basic usage information. Your coach and our staff can see your golf data. Other members cannot, beyond a leaderboard display name you can switch off at any time. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

3. How we use it

To provide coaching: run assessments, generate prescriptions, assign a coach, track progress against the guarantee.
To operate accounts, take payment, and provide support.
To send service messages about your enrollment, coaching, and schools.
To send marketing, where you have opted in or where permitted — you can unsubscribe from any marketing email at any time.
To secure the Services, prevent abuse, and investigate suspected misuse.
To improve our methodology using aggregated, de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
To comply with law and enforce our Terms.

4. Who can see your golf data

This matters more than most privacy questions, so it is stated plainly:

Your assigned coach and our coaching staff can see your assessments, rounds, notes and progress. That is the service.
Other members cannot see your assessments, rounds, or coaching notes.Access is restricted at the database level, not merely hidden in the interface.
Leaderboards show your display name, category handicaps, streak and improvement to other active members. You can opt out at any time in your privacy settings; opting out removes you from other members’ leaderboards entirely while leaving your own view intact.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

5. Service providers

We share personal information with vendors who process it on our instructions, under contract, and only for the purposes below:

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our agreements, to protect the rights or safety of any person, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of the member app will not work without them. Video playback may set cookies from our video host to remember playback position.

7. How long we keep it

Account and golf data: for as long as your enrollment is active, then up to [24] months, so you can return without losing your history.
Applications that do not lead to enrollment: up to [12] months.
Payment and tax records: as long as the law requires, typically seven years.
Aggregated, de-identified data: indefinitely, as it can no longer identify you.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information; to opt out of marketing; and to withdraw consent. California residents have the rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA — and not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

To exercise any right, email support@gravesgolf.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the period required by law (generally 45 days in California, 30 days under GDPR). You may appoint an authorised agent.

If you are in the UK or EEA, our lawful bases are: performance of a contract (to deliver coaching you purchased), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Services), consent (for marketing, which you may withdraw), and legal obligation. You may complain to your supervisory authority.

9. Security

We protect your information with access controls enforced at the database level, encryption in transit, role-based staff access, and audited backend functions for any operation touching another member’s data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and any regulator as required by law.

Report a suspected vulnerability to support@gravesgolf.com. We will not pursue legal action for good-faith research that respects member privacy, avoids service disruption, and gives us a reasonable chance to fix the issue before disclosure.

10. International transfers

We operate from the United States and our providers may process information there. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the member app before it takes effect, and we will update the date at the top.
